How Long Does It Take For My Order To Be Dispatched?
Furniture and décor orders are usually dispatched within 3 business days of purchase and playhouses are 5-7. In peak times dispatch may be longer, up to 5-10 business days for furniture and 10-15 business days for playhouses. You will receive an email when dispatch has been organised along with a tracking number so you can check progress at any time. Please allow up to 24hrs for this to be updated. Can I place my Playhouse Directly On Grass?
To ensure longevity and safety we recommend assembly on a solid, 100% level base (see recommendations below). Failure to prepare the base area properly can lead to an unstable playhouse or rotting of the timber which will reduce the lifespan and void any warranty.
Recommended bases:
- Concrete slab
- Pavers
- Decking
- Treated Pine Sleepers
Are The Playhouses Waterproof?
Correct assembly as well as the use of a weather sealant (to fill any gaps) are necessary to ensure your Playhouse is waterproof. It is also recommended that windows and doors are closed when not in use and that they are secured in the case of strong winds and rain. Covering your playhouse with a tarpaulin is also recommended in severe weather conditions.
We recommend a fresh coat of paint and weather sealant within 6 month of purchase and every 12 months thereafter.
Why Are Our Playhouses Designed With Timber Roofing?
Timber roofs are not only more aesthetically pleasing but they are also much cooler than corrugated iron with no insulation. While there is a little more maintenance involved with timber roofs it's worth it for your children's comfort as no one wants to play in a hot box!
What Is Included In My Playhouse?
Each My Little Manor playhouse design will differ so please refer to their individual product pages for inclusions and exclusions. Unless otherwise stated furniture, fixtures and décor items are not included with our playhouses and have been used for product styling only. Each Playhouse will arrive with:
- Painted Prefabricated Panels
- PVC windows (otherwise known as Perspex)
- Assembly Instructions
- Hardware (handles, magnets, screws, hinges etc)
Not included unless otherwise stated:
- Fixtures (lights, door bells, letterboxes, shelves)
- Furniture (tables, chairs, play kitchens)
- Décor (cushions, rugs, pretend play toys)
- Tools for assembly (electric screwdriver and level recommended)
How Long Do The Playhouses Take To Assemble?
We recommend thoroughly reading the instructions before commencing assembly to save time and prevent errors. On average our Playhouses can take between 2- 4 hours to assemble with 2-3 people.
Can My Playhouse Be Dismantled If We Move Homes?
Yes of course! Your Playhouse can be unscrewed and transported to your new home to be reassembled.
